Immersive Technologies Interest Group (ITIG) Exchange

This Immersive Technologies Interest Group (ITIG) Exchange is a networking event for Macquarie's immersive technology community to share their inspiring research, developments and implementation activities in progress across campus.

Responding to staff interest, the Learning Innovation Hub is excited to bring together four 15-20minute presentations by thought provoking leaders and their peers as follows:


> Incorporating VR technology into learning, teaching and research practice.

Proceedings

The event commences with a light lunch and networking opportunity between 12.15 - 1.00pm following an earlier event: The role of conceptions of learning in technology-enhanced learning environments by esteemed visitor: Chin-Chung Tsai, National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan.

Exchange presentations will take place between 1 – 2.30pm, and following this (and until 4pm), there will be VR stations setup where participants can try on headsets and give some of the experiences a go for themselves.
