Immersive Forest Walks at Mount Macedon

Join Parks Victoria volunteers for a meditative walk through a tranquil corner of Macedon Regional Park. This walk will guide participants through a sequence of sensory and mindfulness activities that aim to calm the mind and connect walkers to the nature around them.

Our volunteers have combined their background in botany, plant ecology, mindfulness, meditation and a strong connection to the Mount Macedon area to create a unique and rewarding experience for walkers.

The walk is under 900 metres that includes some small inclines and follows a trail of compacted earth.

With fresh mountain air comes fresh mountain weather! Temperatures are usually several degrees cooler than in Melbourne, and conditions can change rapidly. Wear appropriate clothing, including warm clothes and a raincoat. Enclosed walking shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots are essential. Please remember to bring your water bottle and sunscreen.

• Bookings are essential.

• This event may be cancelled at the last minute due to extreme weather conditions.

• You will be emailed if the event is cancelled.
• This walk is suited to people aged over 13 (minors must be accompanied by guardian)

• In the event that your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite so our volunteer guides are aware and do not wait for you to arrive. To cancel your order please follow the steps below.

1. Go to your order. Log in to your Eventbrite account. Then go to "Tickets" and click on your order.

2. Choose "Cancel Order".

Desktop — Select 'Cancel Order" (next to your order details). Then choose “Yes, cancel this order".

Eventbrite app — Select the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and tap “Cancel order”.

3. Check for an email from Eventbrite.

The attendee and event organiser receive an email to confirm cancellation.
