Illustrator Workshop
Event Information
Description
A researcher can no longer rely on the power of their words to convey a convincing scientific argument – information in the form of diagrams play just as important a role. Being confident in your ability to produce such diagrams is fundamental to this. This workshop has been developed specifically for scientists to help them understand basic graphic design software – namely Adobe Illustrator. You will develop skills using this software through step by step learning and practice-based projects over a 2-day program. Day 1 will cover all the basic skills in Adobe Illustrator while day 2 will focus on advanced learners.
Facilitator: Ash Every, Supertectonics
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
Please note: This workshop is strictly for CBNS members only. We reserve the right to cancel registrations made by non-CBNS members. Please ask your supervisor for approval before registering.
This workshop is presented by the CBNS Education Committee and supported by the University of Queensland.
