Lombardy's alpine pastures and plains are home to some outstanding cheeses and meats. Gorgonzola, taleggio and bresaola all originate here, and they head up a seemingly endless list of gastronomic treasures. This is the home of Ossobuca alla Milanese, Risotto alla Milanese and Veal Milanesa.
