Due to unforeseen circumstance, the previously announced presenter is unavailable to speak for this event. IIBA Brisbane has managed to secure Amit Sood as an alternative speaker on business architecture who will present a new topic.

IIBA Brisbane is pleased to welcome members to our September 2017 event "Business Architecture and its role in discovering business requirements" presented by Amit Sood. Complimentary canapes and drinks will again be provided for the event.  

Discover the role of business architecture and its relationship with other types of architecture namely solution and enterprise architecture. Explore how business architecture can help business analysts in building and maintaining requirements. We will discuss where business architecture brings value for an organisation and what exactly does it mean.

Amit Sood

Amit Sood, Business Analyst Lead, TransLink

Amit Sood has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years. He has experience in working for the Utility, Manufacturing, Transport, Defence, Local Govt and Education domains. Whilst he has mainly worked in Australia he has experience working in other countries like Singapore, Malaysia and India which has given him a broad perspective of the IT industry and its evolution and progress in different parts of the world. He has worked in various positions as programmer, solution architect, project manager and as business analyst. He has a passion for business analysis and the benefits it can bring for an organisation or business if done correctly. He likes exploring different and newer ways of performing business analysis and modelling requirements. One particular area that interests him the most is Business Architecture and its role and application with other architecture roles existing within the industry and its relationship with business analysis.
