IIBA Brisbane is pleased to welcome members to our April 2017 event "Using Business Processes with Agility" presented by Gareth Jones, Florian Kalbe and Jatinder Singh. Complimentary canapes and drinks will again be provided for the event.
As agile continues to increase its presence in IT delivery, businesses can take advantage of the more effective delivery approaches whilst maintaining a focus on value and outcomes. Processes have a future in agile delivery, in fact processes add value and clarity in agile delivery.
Understanding an organisation’s strategic direction and key value streams enables the development and delivery of portfolios of work that deliver products and services to customers more efficiently. This analysis can trace into the delivery of programs and/or projects and using processes can help uncover the necessary areas of change to deliver the expected outcomes.
You will leave this presentation armed with:
- A greater understanding of value streams and processes in agile delivery
- An understanding of how value streams provide agility
- An appreciation of the importance of maintaining a strategic focus when working in agile
