iCanMed Masterclass: Learn all UMAT techniques in one day (Melbourne)

Masterclass Benefits:

• Since the type of questions asked in UMAT is relatively repetitive, it is crucial for students to be able to realise the type of question in the test and apply the correct technique to solve it. Doing this will help improve accuracy and consistency. The masterclass trains the student to do this and thereby giving them a distinct advantage over any other student.
• Most students we find are very caught up in practising questions and completing exam papers, however, little effort is invested into learning the actual techniques and 'working' required to solve questions. If a student does not know how to solve questions properly, there is very little reason to practice questions (there is no benefit from mindless practice).
• The workshop provides a very fast way to get up to speed with the UMAT preparation. Students who have attended the workshop have realised they achieve more in a day than spending more than six month of preparation by themselves. Many students also discover new techniques and tips they would have never discovered themselves.

Masterclass Brief:

• iCanMed masterclass students will spend the whole day learning about all the key techniques you need to answer all 15 major types of questions found in UMAT section 1, 2 and 3.
• Students will first be taught about the unique features and challenges of each major question type and then be shown the technique to solve them using live demostration.
• Afterwards, students will have the opportunity to practice the newly-learned techniques by answering 50 questions in a workbook we provide.
• Students will be given immediate feedback by the coach as they attempt each question.
