How does the ICAC affect you?

The Independent Commissioner Against Corruption, the Hon. Bruce Lander QC, invites you to an information session at the Lameroo Memorial Hall so he can explain how South Australia’s first independent anti-corruption body affects you.

The Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Act 2012 (ICAC Act) impacts all public officers and public authorities working in South Australian public administration.

If you are an employee of a local council or a state government agency, you are a public officer and are subject to oversight by the ICAC.

The ICAC Act empowers the Commissioner’s office to identify and investigate corruption in public administration and to prevent and minimise corruption, misconduct and maladministration in South Australian public administration.

Commissioner Lander will explain the role and function of his office, and offer you the opportunity to ask him questions.
