Community organisations and individuals are invited to register to participate in an invitation-only forum. We are looking for organisations involved in social welfare, community houses, sporting clubs, front line responders, womens' groups, mental health providers and people who are interested in reducing the incidence of domestic violence. The forum will be looking at the current level of incidents which may be elevated after the pandemic lockdown, loss of jobs and economic effects, plus the Christmas / New Year period. If you have professional or personal experience of interacting or working in Hume (and surrounds), we would like to invite you to attend and share your knowledge with others in the forum. We will be looking at short and medium term activities that we can do to alleviate this pressing issue. A standup working lunch will be provided (multicultural and accommodating most dietary restrictions)
