Human Rights Oration 2019 with Virginia Trioli
Event Information
About this Event
On 10 December 2019 - International Human Rights Day - Virginia Trioli will deliver the 2019 Human Rights Oration.
What have we learnt about sex, power and sexual harassment in the last 25 years? That’s the question at the heart of journalist Virginia Trioli’s new edition of her acclaimed 1996 book Generation F.
The #MeToo movement and a greater acknowledgement of sexual harassment as a symptom of gender inequality have refocused our attention on women’s experiences of sexual harassment – but all the evidence tells us there’s still a way to go.
