Description

Join us at the 2016 Human Rights Awards!

The Human Rights Awards is the pinnacle of human rights recognition in Australia. Each year we proudly celebrate the outstanding contribution of individuals and organisations in promoting and protecting human rights and freedoms.

This year the Awards will be MC’ed by one of Australia’s best loved actors and stage performers Magda Szubanski.

The keynote address will be given by former Governor-General Dame Quentin Bryce, and there will also be a special performance by Aboriginal singer and songwriter Archie Roach.

The Awards ceremony is on Friday 9 December from 12 to 3pm at the Westin Hotel Sydney. The event is a lunch and includes a 2-course meal and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

There will be plenty of time to network and mingle with other guests, as well as to hear from some of the extraordinary people working in human rights.
