Human Library - Brisbane Square Library
Date and time
The Human Library challenges stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue, where people are books on loan to readers for a chat.
About this event
Explore a diverse collection of ‘human books’ during this conversation-style storytelling event. ‘Human books’ are individual volunteers who share their story in conversations with small groups of readers. A few possible topics include race, gender, religion and disability. Choose your book title and settle in for a fascinating conversation with a person you would not usually talk to.
Each session runs for one hour and 15 minutes – you will speak with two human books in this time. If you would like to speak to more books, please book a place in both sessions.
