Event description
Discover how to become a better manager by understanding more about yourself, your team and your environment

About this Event

Customer Experience (CX) Management is one of the hottest topics in business right now. It leverages a deep understanding of your customers to provide a better experience that typically results in higher brand advocacy and loyalty.

What if you could apply the same principles of CX to how you understand yourself and your team in order to lift both employee engagement and CX? After all, as Richard Branson said, ‘if you take care of your staff, they will take care of your clients’.

This Human Centred Managers Workout is a highly practical and innovative workout where you will get the tips, tools and confidence you need to manage with care.

It helps you better understand yourself, and your team, so that you can help others do their best work. It will help you to harness your strengths and values, so you can lead from a place of authenticity.

If you’ve ever felt out of your comfort zone delegating appropriately, managing tricky stakeholders and balancing the competing demands placed on you and your team, then you’re not alone.

Oftentimes you get promoted because you’re really good at your craft - typically making things, and making things happen. Whether it’s communications, development, digital, advertising, events or whatever. You’ve honed your skills, consistently delivered, and it’s been rewarded with some managerial responsibilities. But managing teams, navigating political environments and working with stakeholders usually requires a distinct skill-set to your previous day-job. Hence the saying, ‘What’s got you to where you are, may not take you to where you’re going’.

In order to be an effective modern-day manager, it’s important to master the fundamental principles of management, dig deep into EQ and people management and acquire a new toolset and mindset that will equip you to thrive in today’s ever-changing environment.
