HSC RAP and Understanding Standards to improve HSC results

A professional development course that promotes self-reflection in teaching and learning practices. This is achieved by the participants using their own devices to:

• explore their individual school’s Results Analysis Package to assess their student internal and external assessment data;
• reflect on their assessment program;
• examine the NESA moderation process and its impact on their school assessment data and how it might reflect and inform their particular school’s assessment procedures; and
• understand the Standards-setting process and the student characteristics at each band through engagement with the refreshed Standards Materials.
