The University of Newcastle HSC MUSIC DAY is open to Year 11 and 12 music students and will to be held on Friday 6 May, 2016 between 9.00am – 2.30pm at the Harold Lobb Concert Hall, Newcastle Conservatorium.
This program for the day will focus on Australian music and include performances by Encore nominees (2015), local artists, valuable presentations by HSC markers and a selection of performance, composition, musicology and aural skills workshops.
The cost of participation is $40.00 per student (including GST). Students attending will be provided with a HSC Music Day resource booklet - all students are expected to bring their own writing materials and to wear full school uniform to this event. Please note: To comply with venue safety requirements, large school backpacks must not be brought into the foyer or concert hall. Students may bring a small bag for writing materials.
Morning tea will be available for purchase from the foyer, however, students are encouraged to bring a packed lunch or organise school arrangements for a ‘Picnic in the Park’ (weather permitting).
Your on-line booking will automatically include one (1) x teacher entry for the day. If you would like to register additional teachers please purchase them, $40.00 per additional teacher (including GST).
