About this event

How2GetStarted for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students is a How2RMIT session where current students show you everything you’ll want to know to get started this semester.

This 1 hour session is delivered online via Microsoft teams and includes how to:

Get organised: Learn about timetabling, classes, student card, fees, loans, and other 2022 student admin essentials

Navigating RMIT: Find out how to get your questions answered at RMIT, find your way around online and on campus, and learn about important COVID campus protocols.

How to register and attend:

1. Register for this session with your RMIT student email (eg. s1234567@student.rmit.edu.au) by clicking the green 'Register' button above. Don't know your RMIT student ID? Click here.

2. To save you time, please make sure you have logged in to your RMIT student email Outlook account at least once before this session, as you will need to set up Multi Factor Authentication on your first login.

3. You will receive an email from Eventbrite with the link to the online session. At the session start time, click the link to log in to the session via Microsoft Teams with your RMIT student ID. If you are prompted by Eventbrite to "sign in to access this event", log in or create an account using your RMIT student email.

4. If you're attending the session on the web, use a media-source extension (MSE)-enabled web browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Safari is not currently supported. Alternatively, you can download the Microsoft Teams app and view the session there.

5. This session is also delivered in person at the Job Shop (124 Swanston Street, Building 10, Level 4, Room 70, Melbourne, VIC, 3000). If you'd like to attend the in person session, register here.
