Description

How would you assess whether Victoria’s energy retail market is competitive and efficient?

We're developing a framework to assess how competitive and efficient the Victorian retail energy market is and want to hear from you.

A range of views will be presented through guest speakers, expert panels and workshops to gather participant views.

The event will feature:

  • respected economists will present their perspective on how they would undertake the task of assessing the competitiveness and efficiency of the Victorian energy retail market
  • panel sessions comprised of leaders from consumer advocates, industry, commentators, policy makers and academia
  • facilitated activities with participants to provide early feedback for the commission’s draft approach

  • Professor Catherine Waddams, Norwich Business School at the University of East Anglia (via livestream)
