Description

ABOUT THIS SESSION:

Most research students begin their work with a literature review, yet few really understand its role in shaping a thesis. This session provides you with a sound understanding of the form and the function of a literature review. It looks at what makes a literature review effective and how to go about writing one. The session also provides some hints about what examiners are looking for.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

After this session, you will have a much better grasp of your literature review. You will know what a literature review is and what it is not; how it functions in your thesis and how to go about producing one.
