This is your opportunity to get information from a Commissioner about the recent amendments to the Fair Work Act due to be implemented in January 2014 and ask a senior industrial lawyer your burning legal questions.
Ms Booth will be providing information about the new workplace anti-bullying provisions and how best to prepare for any potential applications; including reviewing the definition of bullying, jurisdiction of applications and how to manage workplace bullying applications. Ms Booth will also cover the updated union right of entry provisions and the new ‘family friendly’ measures and new consultation requirements.
Ms Annie Smeaton, Special Counsel, Cooper, Grace, Ward, is the second speaker and will give you an outline of how to prepare yourself for complaints of workplace bullying and when to investigate. She will also answer your legal questions in an informative legal Q&A session designed to provide you with candid and practical information. Please email your questions prior to the event to give Ms Smeaton time to prepare.

There is a restriction on numbers at this training workship. Upon payment your registration will be secured. We reserve the right to cancel courses where there are insufficeint enrolments. A 50% cancellation fee will be applied when participants cancel workshop reservations fewer than 5 days business days prior to Thursday 5 December 2013 - that is by Thursday 28th November 2013. If less than 5 days, then no refund will be given. If this course is altered, cancelled or attendance quotos changed we will not be held liable for any non-refundable travel and accomodation requirements.
