Event description

Description

Course outline
This practical based course has been designed to provide an understanding of Possum Skin Cloaks, the purpose, process and techniques.

Educators participate in the making of a keep sake to take back to your centre (arm band), and have the opportunity to work (sew, design and burn) on a larger scale project such as a baby blanket.

We explore how this content is appropriate and demonstrate how these activities and knowledges can be connected into your day to day curriculum (EYLF).

Completing Possum (Possum skin Cloaks) training will contribute 3hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 1.4.2, 2.4.2 & 6.2.2from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

Note: Confirmation of booking can be made register via contact@speakingincolour.com.au with a valid Purchase order number.
