About the presenter

Mel Loy is the founder and owner of Hey Mel! Communication & Training, a small but energetic change communication agency based in Brisbane. Mel has managed crisis comms for some of Australia's largest organisations, including a couple of years working in the Queensland Police Service's Media and Public Affairs Unit. Her experience also includes managing crisis communications for one of Australia's largest insurance companies during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, leadership spills, workplace injuries and deaths, financial issues, and much more. It's this experience she brings to her Crisis Communication courses, which she's facilitated for clients nationally and internationally.
