Businesses' best friend

Every business needs to blog
Why?
Because the Web puts into the hands of all business owners the tools to disseminate their wisdom so they can educate and convince their potential customers, everywhere.
Blogging is the cornerstone of this potent marketing conversation.

Message in a bottle
Much of what is done online to build business is as ineffective as a message in a bottle on a choppy sea.

Strategic blogging increases your ability to find and connect to your most wanted customers.

These are the people who actively search for what you offer.

Or would want it if they could find it.

You don't.  They do.  Who wins?
If you’re not blogging, others are.

In doing so, they’re connecting with and building relationships with your customers.

Blogging builds community
Sharing your purpose and value through blogging is a central tenet from which you build a clan of customers – a clan who will advocate, buy and act.

Blogging builds your brand
Effective blogging does more to position your business and its purpose than any other marketing medium by:

  • developing, then amplifying your business and your personal brand
  • raising your profile as a go-to person in your industry
  • facilitating conversations with people of influence and their followers
  • exposing you and your business to hundreds, even thousands of people who‘d never have known about you or your offer before
  • building trust
  • giving you the opportunity to explain your unique solution.

Need any more convincing?
Here’s what we start with to see just what  a great friend blogging is for business:
•    The merits of being inquisitive online to find your customers, competitors and collaborator.
•    Why you should embrace keywords, the little jewels that can deliver your most wanted customer
•    How to find your perfect customer with a suite of easy to use Google tools
•    How to optimise your blog posts correctly for Google’s little helpers

Your best employee
Your 24/365 employee
What works for you 24/365, never pulls a sickie and doesn’t demand a pay rise?
Your blogs, of course.

You’re an encyclopedia of knowledge accumulated across a working life of experience, talent and expertise.  That adds up to great value.

If it’s stuck in your brain or only on show when you’re in front of a customer, it’s not working for you. You’re working for it.

When you blog, you extract that value, convert it to sparkling content and unleash your best sales rep to find, engage and connect with your perfect customer.

Consistency + communications=connections=currency
Here’s where you’ll learn how to:
•    Turn your expertise into laser-focused stories people want to read
•    Build a library of customer-attracting content
•    Re-purpose it into text, audio and video
•    Curate others’ great content
•    Use the right platforms to leverage your content and expose it to many more readers
•    Conduct the sales conversation when it’s right to have it.

Who needs their best friend and employee?

You need this practical workshop if you:
•    Do your own marketing and need to build your brand, profile and influence
•    Want to find more of the right customers
•    Are not getting traction online
•    Have lots of value to share and a passion to educate others
•    Know you should blog, but don’t know how to start or do it better
•    Suffer from dread of the blank white page or empty screen
•    Believe you can’t write  or have anything interesting to say
•    Want to build your business community, be a change maker, leave a legacy and make a difference.

Sandy McDonald, Get It Right Online

Sandy is an online marketing coach.   She blogs, is an author and a TEDx speaker.

After 22 years running a marketing communications company, she used purposeful blogging to start and build a vast global community that works to help children orphaned in Africa.

Sandy’s TEDx talk, Tell your story, save a life, for which she received a standing ovation, is based on this experience and explains how your story can enrich, change or even save lives.

Her book, Get it right online. Build a clan and supercharge your business, details the framework to do this.

Now Sandy works with business owners to bring clarity into their complex online world.

She helps them build a coherent and correctly positioned online platform from which to tell the stories that can build a loyal clan, as both a business development and life-changing practice.

Blogging is story telling.  Done well it's a paradigm shift, changing a business conversation to what matters; how to make a difference in people's lives.

She believes that at the intersection of the Internet, compassion and stories, communities gather, and that what can be done with such communities is yet to be imagined.

She is known for converting a complex online world into practical, but life-changing steps for business owners to supercharge their business AND their lives.
