About this Event

Breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Australian women and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Recent advances in screening and treatment mean that more patients are diagnosed early and effectively treated. Early diagnosis may also mean that many women can be cured with less treatment and less side effects. Professor Bruce Mann is involved in a number of trials investigating how much treatment is enough.

Come join our free public lecture to learn how The Royal Melbourne Hospital is improving the approach to managing breast cancer and the latest learnings from recent trials.
