An event for those who want to make a difference, not just a living.

How can I work in social impact? It's a question we hear all the time. Even if it's not in those exact words, there are so many of you out there wanting to know how your work can contribute to stronger communities and better futures. If you've been inspired by the Social Impact Festival and want to know how you can get involved in this work, you've come to the right place!

Maybe you're a student who want to know how to find a job that will make a difference. Maybe you're trying to find a way to make more impact in the organisation or industry you're already part of. Wherever you're coming from, this event will help you work out what social impact means to you, and how you can get started.

You'll hear from Joni Sercombe of MercyCare, Alison Kwok of Social Ventures Australia, Jessica Anderson of Country Arts WA, Matt Norman from Teach For Australia, and Kat Clements from Curtin University about the paths they've taken, and the work they're doing in very different sectors to contribute to social impact. Please make sure you register, as places are limited!

This is an Impact Sparker Event, part of the Social Impact Festival 2018 #SIFest18

This event is presented by Teach For Australia, an innovative non-profit in the education sector. To find out more about our work, or for any queries about this event, email matt.norman@teachforaustralia.org or head to www.teachforaustralia.org for more information.
