Do you really understand how your horses posture affects their performance?
Good posture is the key to a healthy, sound and successful horse. But how do you know if your horse has good posture, and how can you improve it?

Learning to assess posture and understanding how it influences the horses movement and therefore performance is the first step to a long and successful relationship.

Do you understand the anatomical implications of poor posture?

Can you assess posture in the static and dynamic horse?

Do you understand the relationship between posture and movement?

Do you know what techniques should be employed to improve posture and movement?

If you answered no to any of these then this a workshop for you! Aimed at everyone from the pleasure horse rider to the professional competitor and everyone else who assists along the way such as trainers, therapists, saddle fitters, farriers and more! Gillian presents this workshop in a way that is easy to understand and easy to apply with a combination of theory and practical skills.

This two day course will include classroom and practical session and cover:
Posture and the Effect of Riding (classroom session)

Assessing Posture Practical Session
Improving Posture (In hand - practical session)
Assessing Movement (Classroom)
Effect of Posture on Movement (Classroom)
