While Support at Home is fast approaching, there is still 12+ months of the HCP program, with industry updates on the way. It's no secret as OTs the variability across providers and lack of guidelines can be challenging to navigate.

In this masterclass workshop, the below listed key topics will be covered, alongside time to integrate learning by working through challenging scenario case studies experienced by OTs working in the HCP space. Limited spaces available!

• Understand the role of OT in the HCP program
• Gain clarify the difference between Consumer Directed Care and Person Centred Care
• Learn a framework to support recommendations as ‘inclusions’
• Learn a framework to support advise on ‘mainstream’ AT requests
• Integrate learning through case studies and small group discussion

Lauren Hennessy – Recently presented 'The Future of Aged Care for OT' webinar. Over 9 years of experience working predominantly in the community and aged care sector. Lauren works as an Allied Health Team Leader and provides individual and group supervision services alongside this through Way Forward OT. She has extensive experience working across all aged care funding streams, including CHSP, HCP and STRC. Passionate about the true value of OT in aged care and about driving change in the industry to enhance OT scope and client outcomes in this space.
