OK - I'm confessing - it's RENT-A-CROWD!!!!

Seriously folks - you know how hard it is to convince Canberran's that Nordic Walking is the best thing since sliced bread!!!

This is a really great opportunity for us to get the message out that Nordic Walking is one of the safest, most effective, and most enjoyable ways of staying active and fit - as you know - for all ages and fitness levels.

ABC journo Jana Black will be at the flags at 10.00am on Tuesday 19th January with a film crew - she'll interview me and two other stars - Jacinta Greenwood and Werner Lausberg - she asked for a young woman and a bloke!

Jana would like to have a decent sized gaggle of Nordic Walkers passing behind as she does the interviews - for the story to have impact.

And I know that you will be doing your best Nordic Walking technique - so not to be confused with hiking - long arms (no bent elbows!), swing starting at the shoulders with poles on the diagonal behind your feet!

Sorry that I can't offer you Hollywood Extra's rates for this important performance!

We might need to be a bit patient while the filming guys get the footage that they need.
