Event description

Description

Hollows are so important in our landscape for many native animals, including threatened species. Come and watch an arborist create artificial hollows in a stag tree to accommodate Microbats and Squirrel Gliders. Learn about creating artificial hollows and nest boxes for wildlife in your garden or on your farm.

The morning will include brief talks, demonstrations and a short walk around the reserve. Come along for all or part of the day.

Bring your own picnic and bottled water on the day and remember to wear appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.

Tickets have all been allocated, so please let me know if you can no longer attend this event to provide an opportunity for others to attend.

Please car pool if possible, as parking is limited within the reserve. Overflow parking will be on Mansfield Road. A portable toilet will be available on site for the duration of the event.

If you need more information, contact the Bushland Projects Officer at Wingecarribee Shire Council on 4868 0828 or karen.guymer@wsc.nsw.gov.au
