Holistic Wellbeing – heart, mind, body and spirit
Event Information
About this event
Finding balance in our wellbeing can be a challenge and something for us to work on. Holistic wellbeing is about finding strategies to support our overall health and wellbeing – heart, mind, body and spirit.
Join our panel of speakers and explore how we can create this balance and sense of wellbeing.
Our speakers will share their lived experiences and knowledge on everything from mindfulness techniques, pursuing meaningful activities and finding new opportunities for connection and fun in our local community. Strengthening our wellbeing means making positive choices and finding a sense of purpose.
About our panel
- Annette Subhani from New Pathways Coaching & Training offers a down-to-earth approach to support wellbeing and will share loads of ideas to support you finding a sense of holistic wellbeing in everyday life.
- Gretta Daley is a Therapeutic Counsellor with the Gambler’s Help program at Connect Health & Community. She will share the benefits and practical techniques for adopting mindfulness practices in our daily lives.
- Fiona Cann is the Coordinator, Neighbourhood Inclusion at Frankston City Council. Fiona coordinates Council-run Community Centres that provide locals with a range of low-cost social, recreational and educational activities to enjoy all year round, as well as opportunities to volunteer.
- A local community change maker and lived experience speaker will also share their personal experience of gambling harm, and their passion and sense of purpose advocating for change.
This session is supported by Connect Health & Community who deliver Gambler’s Help services across the South East metropolitan region of Melbourne. Connect Health & Community is working with Frankston City Council to support women to explore local places of belonging and connection. Places like our libraries, community centres, sports and recreation facilities and volunteering opportunities.
