Holiday Program: Forest Fascinators

By Sunshine Coast Council

Overview

Connect with nature at the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden

Wear your favourite hat and craft a one-of-a-kind hat band and fascinator using natural materials. Children will explore a beautiful selection of forest treasures - feathers, pods, petals, leaves and fibres - and learn simple weaving, wrapping and arranging techniques.

Each child will design and create their own unique adornment to suit their hat and personal style!

Suitable ages: 5+ years

All materials provided.

Facilitated by Jodie from Natureweavers.
