About this Event
Our desire for HobartBIM is to provide a free bi-monthly gathering for like-minded and curious individuals to discuss their successes, desires and learnings on a range of topics including but not limited to; building information modelling, computational design, digital fabrication, virtual & augmented reality, reality capture and facility management.
Our aim is to welcome users of all professions, experience and technology platforms whilst remaining vendor neutral.
We will kick off our inaugural event at 6pm on the 3rd of July at the Brickworks Hobart Design Studio. Klaus Stroehl (Gandy & Roberts) and Michael Carlotto (TERROIR) will host the evening as they discuss the opportunities they see for the Hobart community, industry trends and how the user group may grow over the coming months. The current agenda for the evening is;

- Key Opportunities and Relevance of BIM to the Industry
- Current Uptake of BIM in Tasmania and Adoption Challenges
- BILT ANZ 2019 Conference Summary
- Future Agenda and Meeting Frequency (Open discussion with audience)
7:30 – 9:00 – Networking drinks and nibbles.
