Event description
We invite you to attend a community forum in Hobart. This is an opportunity to hear about the work of the Disability Royal Commission.

About this Event

Community forums are an opportunity for the Royal Commission to update the community about its work, and for us to hear your stories, in an informal environment.

Please let us know when you register to attend if you would like to speak publicly, as spaces may be limited. We will let you know prior to the forum whether you are speaking and, if so, provide you with guidelines on how to prepare.

We will also have staff present on the day you can talk with about your experiences one on one.

The community forums will be fully accessible, with Auslan Interpreters and live captioning. For more information, visit the Disability Royal Commission website.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended, as spaces will be limited by venue size.

Hearing directly from people with disability, family and carers, and those working in the disability sector is critical to the work of the Royal Commission. If you have something to tell us but are unable to attend a community forum, please consider making a submission. Submissions are the main way people can tell the Royal Commission about their experiences.
