Our winter plantings are kicking off and we are back to Howard Vineyard to follow up last year's planting event!
About this event
We’re off to help Howard continue their journey to give a piece of their land back to nature.
2 hours only 9-11am Sunday 5th June followed by a delicious light meal and a beverage.
No Experience Necessary - Family Friendly - Children are very welcome and can participate under your supervision.
What do I need to bring?
- Weather and work appropriate clothing & sturdy shoes
- Gardening gloves
- Small mattock or spade/trowel
- Hammer to knock in tree guard stake
What are we planting?
To get this reveg project going, we will be planting a mix of small trees, shrubs and sedges between Bald Hills Rd and the creek. Very soon this will bring in birds, bats and insects which will improve the planet and the quality of the vineyard.
