Susan Grace Benny was the first female local government member elected in Australia in 1919

Australian Local Government Women's Association South Australian Branch invites you to celebrate this event with a luxury High Tea in the historic surroundings of Glanville Hall, 8 Park Avenue, Semaphore South.

We welcome councillors, council staff, their friends, colleagues and other interested people to come along to this special historic occasion in a historic venue - Glanville Hall- built in 1856.

Muriel Matters Society will also speak about South Australia’s Muriel Lilah Matters- suffragette.

Bookings: Close at 5pm on Saturday 14 September 2019. (We cannot offer refunds after that date).

ALGWA SA Association members have a discounted price. (You can join before booking for this event: email ALGWA SA Secretary on: algwa.sa@gmail.com ).

Note: organisations, councils, groups can book a table of 8 (select Table of 8).

ALGWA SA Branch member discounted price: $40 + booking fee $3:29 = $43:29 per person OR

Non-members: $50 + booking fee $3:84 = $53.84 per person OR

Tables of 8: $380 + booking fee $ 21.99= $401.99 ($50:25 per person)

The menu: Each three-course high tea menu is created fresh daily - with every single item handmade from scratch, and no two menus ever the same! As a guide, high teas always include a selection of both savoury and sweet treats such as finger sandwiches, mini pies, frittata, tartlets, quiche, fudge, slices, muffins, macarons, mousse cups - PLUS our fluffy, fresh buttermilk scones!

Special dietary requirements: Glanville Hall will do its best to cater for special dietary requirements – however restrictions do apply. Guests with these requirements will likely receive a separate, plated meal.
