About this event
People living with intellectual disabilities face many barriers to achieving independence in adulthood. One major barrier faced by people is obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.
ACT Down Syndrome Association's pre-employment program aims to teach young people living with intellectual disability the basic standards and expectations of the workforce.
This program is open to young people living with an intellectual disability (not just Down syndrome) attending high school between Year 9 - Year 12.
This evening will be an opportunity for you to meet the staff from ACT Down Syndrome Association and learn more about this opportunity.
