Event description

Description

Jim Koopman will present the Maybanke project in Birchgrove, recipient of a heritage award, whilst Anglea Rheinlaender and David Haseler will discuss Lilyfield House, their own private residence, which received a sustainability award.

Curated and introduced by local architects Sam Rigoli, Michael Zanardo and Casey Bryant, the Architecture Street talks are presented in association with Inner West Council.

The Inner West Council Built Environment Awards celebrate the understanding of built heritage and sustainability practices in the local government area. The Marrickville Medal for Conservation has been awarded annually since 1995 for the preservation of the Inner West’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. Since 2016, the Sustainable Building Award has also recognised the contribution that sustainable architecture has made to the community.
