Event description

Description

Our community has a responsibility to support young people to successfully transition from education to employment. We all know it takes a ‘village to raise a child’ and industry is a very important stakeholder in this challenge.

The SA Government has recently provided a grant to the Beacon Foundation to expand its presence and impact into more school communities in the northern/western suburbs of Adelaide. The support and involvement of growth industry sectors and local businesses in those communities is fundamental to improving the education and employment outcomes of South Australian young people.

How can you help?

Come along to a business breakfast at the Stretton Centre as we explore the ways you can help support our young people be better prepared for the world of work in a fast-changing 21st century environment!

You will hear from keynote speakers and a panel including local students from Beacon schools, representatives from industry, educators and government.
