HEAT Homeless Longest Lunch

HEAT Homeless Longest Lunch will take place on Friday 23 March 2018, serving approximately 150 community members with a three course meal served and prepared by participants of the HEAT Training program.

This event aims to raise community awareness surrounding homelessness and disadvantaged state wide. This year will be celebrating 11 years of this event. Our aim is to enable young people to share equally in society by developing meaningful connections to the community through youth participation, civic engagement and celebration of performance. This event runs each year as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and over 1,500 homeless members of the community have dined with HEAT. The awareness of this event has flowed through to corporates, local business owners and the broader community.
