Heart Works: MEL SARGEANT presents an Observational Comedy Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
We've all been there: catching a moment in time or an observation, and thinking to yourself, "Wait a minute - that's funny!"
But then you try to retell your funnies to others, only to be met with blank faces.
There are various tips and tricks around turning that material into jokes that will work on stage and at dinner parties - and comic, broadcaster and podcaster Mel Sargeant knows her way around pretty much all of them.
‘Pretty damn funny’ - The Age, Melbourne International Comedy Festival
‘Cutting edge political commentary’ - The Groggy Squirrel
You might know Mel ‘Sarge’ Sargeant from NEW FM, before that she worked for the NOVA 969, 919, 937 and also spent some time at SCA's, 2DAY FM and B105.
