Enjoy a guided walk through the extensive Kings Park bushland located right on Perth's doorstep. This event is free but booking is required.

About this event

Your knowledgeable Kings Park Volunteer Guides will lead you through some of the lesser known tracks in the Banksia woodlands of Kings Park. Take in the beauty of one of the biggest inner-city parks in the world and enjoy the unique and diverse flora that WA is famous for.

DAYS AND DATES: Every Friday from July to the end of October

TIME: The walk leaves at 10am sharp. Please arrive at least 15 min before the start of the walk.

MEETING PLACE: Meet at the Guided Walks sign the bottom of the stairs outside Aspects of Kings Park


  • Moderate degree of difficulty.
  • This walk is up to 3 hours in duration and up to 6 km.
  • Some paths are sand tracks. Not suitable for prams or mobility aids.
  • Comfortable enclosed walking shoes recommended.
  • Bring sunscreen, hat and water and a raincoat (weather dependent).
  • This walk will go ahead if it is raining but in the event of severe weather it may be cancelled. Check the Kings Park and Botanic Garden website for cancellation information.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION: To give walkers the best experience our numbers are limited and booking is required. We ask that you please cancel prior to the day if you know you will not be able to attend. Hopefully there will be another day that will suit you.
