Description

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!

Come join us to test your mental fortitude and lateral thinking in the first Rock My World workshop of 2020!

We have booked in again with Next Level Escape to bring you the devilishly clever Ex Libris and The Artefact Escape Rooms:

Ex Libris (for those who have not done this room before):

"Imagine you could visit the world of literature: fight alongside elves and dwarves as you the fate of Middle Earth is decided, travel 20,000 leagues under the sea with Captain Nemo aboard the Nautilus, curtsy to the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland – what fun!

But what if you couldn’t find your way back home…"

The Artefact (for those who did Ex Libris last year):

"Your team of investigators has been conscripted by the FBI to investigate an alien artefact they've discovered. Sure, the artefact is doing strange things, but you'll have a non-malevolent, smart-ass AI to help you out. What could possibly go wrong?

This room is recommended for 4-6 players, or very experienced groups of 2-3 players. Fluency in English is highly suggested due to the reading required.

Please note that the room contains flashing lights and smoke effects."

You have to work with your Hear For You mentors to try and solve all the puzzles in the room before 75 minutes is up....

After the escapade, chill out, relax and chat about what you thought about the room!

Excited???

FAQs (sourced from Next Level Escape website http://www.nextlevelescape.com.au/faq/)

WILL I ACTUALLY BE LOCKED INTO THE ROOM?

No, all of our exits can be fully accessed at all times. The only thing keeping you in the room is your desire to beat it!

ARE YOUR ROOMS SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?

Certainly! We assume no prior knowledge: everything you need is right there in the room with you. Young and old, intro- and extro-verted, female and male – all are guaranteed a good time!

One caveat, however: the rooms aren’t really designed for children under 10 (although if you’re convinced that your munchkin can handle it, it’s up to you!), and junior room escapers (under 15 years) need to be supervised by an adult.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

All our games last for 75 minutes. You’ll want to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your booking time for admin such as waiver forms and a briefing, and after your game there will be a short debrief.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Leave behind that graphics calculator and cryptology textbook – you’re not going to need them. Nor will you need any writing tools, paper, skeleton keys, hacksaws, Prison Escape 101 books, DVDs of Lost, or anything of the sort – all you need is right there in the room with you.

In short, you don’t need to bring anything, just your curiosity and excitement!

DO YOU HAVE A WAIVER FORM, AND WHAT'S ON THERE?

Read the full waiver text here.
