Are you thinking about applying for the Healthy Tasmania Fund Round 2? Come to one of our Community Information Sessions to find out more.

About this Event

Are you thinking about applying for a Healthy Tasmania Fund grant? We encourage you to start thinking about your project and discussing ideas before applications open on 7 September 2020.

Come to one of the Community Information Sessions to find out about the grants, how to apply, share ideas and ask questions. A snack will be provided.

The Healthy Tasmania Fund Round 2 will provide grants up to $200 000 for projects or initiatives of up to two years. There will be small grants (up to $30 000) and large grants ($30 001 to $200 000).

Grants will focus on one or more of the following areas:

• reducing smoking

• improving healthy eating

• being more physically active

• improving mental health and wellbeing.

All projects should have a focus on building community connections.

Important information:

Guests need to be well to attend the sessions. If you present with a fever or have any symptoms, you will not be allowed to attend. If you are unwell prior to the event, please cancel your registration as soon as possible.

Measures will be in place at all events to comply with Tasmanian Government’s COVID-19 restrictions. A COVID-19 Safety Plan will also be tailored for each of these sessions including a Screening Assessment form which must be completed upon arrival.

At the venue we may use:

• temperature checks upon arrival for all staff and attendees. If anyone presents with a temperature greater than 37.5 degrees, the person will be asked to leave

• physical distancing measures for all staff and attendees including:

- limiting the numbers of attendees based on maximum number of people for each venue area

- staff and attendees to maintain a physical distance of no less than 1.5 metres between every other person

- using hand sanitizer provided at each session and to be used upon entering and leaving the session area

- individually packed snacks.

Parking Information

Devonport: Car parking is available in the multi-level car park located next door to the paranaple centre. All day parking is $5.00 on the top level. All other levels are $1.00 per half hour.
