About the Healthy Kids project:

This project aims to bring together local ECEC educators and other key partners to engage in free face-to-face health PD that complements the EYLF and provides opportunities for reflective practice to foster good health and wellbeing of children in the local community prior to school-age.

Activities for 2017 include:

  • Local quarterly free face-to-face PD events with web-conferencing facilities (7 March; 23 May; 3 August; 19 Oct) including a reflective practice component.
  • Local quarterly CHATs (Child Health Active Talks) between each PD session to connect and support each other in building a healthier early childhood community using participatory critical reflection.
