Description

A free workshop for cooks and chefs working in retail food outlets (hospitals, health services, workplaces, sport and recreation centres, tertiary institutions and parks), caterers that supply to workplaces in Victoria and Management.

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to provide foods and drinks that are in line with the Healthy Choices guidelines for retail food outlets and workplace catering.

The workshop will be facilitated by an Accredited Practising Dietitian or Registered Nutritionist from the Healthy Eating Advisory Service.

All materials will be provided on the day and you will receive a certificate of completion at the end.

Topics include:

  • Overview of the Healthy Choices guidelines
  • Ingredient swaps and recipe modification
  • Sourcing healthier products
  • Promoting and marketing healthier items
  • How the Healthy Eating Advisory Service can help you

Who should attend?

Free parking is available in front of the hospital, or in surrounding streets.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

There is no need for paper tickets or to print this confirmation email. Your name will be on an attendee list at the training.
