BHthSci (Nut&Dt) BAppSci (HMS) First Class Honours

Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist, Sports Dietitian

Peta brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and creative flair to the Healthy Business Masterclass table. As Director of Lifestar Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, a successful Brisbane-based private practice, for 10 years, Peta worked tirelessly to grow her consulting locations, brand and assets, and employed a number of passionate Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists with various skill sets and personalities. Through her experience, Peta learned a great deal about business operations, marketing, communication, client relations, and managing a satisfied and successful team.

Peta has also contributed content to well-known health and fitness magazines, managed a multidisciplinary weight management clinic, and dabbled in post-graduate research in the area of obesity, appetite and eating behaviour.

Peta has been a Convenor of the Dietitians Association of Australia Private Practice Interest group, and has had a paper published in the Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics outlining findings of a survey investigating the working profile of Private Practice Dietitians in Australia. She has a strong love for knowledge-sharing and mentoring; in particular, helping early career Dietitians improve the client experience and making their business a true reflection of them, to help achieve healthy work-life balance.

Peta is a creative spirit, with a passion for empowering others to be their amazing, unique selves, and is excited to share her knowledge and story with us while taking a break from Dietetic practice to pursue some creative business ventures.
