Description

Do you want to earn CPD points?

If this particular educational activity is relevant to your immediate or long term needs in relation to your professional development and practise of the law, then you should claim one unit for each hour of attendance, refreshment breaks not included.

Deakin Law School is pleased to invite you to join us for this special professional development event focusing on the theme of 'Health and Wellbeing'.

We are delighted to welcome the Honourable Associate Justice Mary-Jane Ierodiaconou of the Supreme Court of Victoria to this event to deliver a short talk which will be followed by a Q&A session.

Her Honour dedicated her maiden speech upon election to the Law Institute of Victoria Council to the importance of flexibility and mental health in the legal profession. She has also published extensively on mental health, including articles to do with disclosure, unlawful discrimination and the importance of raising awareness of mental health issues.

This is a FREE event and will include canapés and drinks as well as the opportunity to network with Deakin Law School staff, alumni and other guests working within the field.

We look forward to welcoming you.
