Are you aware of the skills you are developing throughout your research degree and how they relate to employability in both academic and non-academic environments? Do you know how to articulate your skills and how they will be a benefit to employers?

In this workshop you will complete activities designed to build your career confidence. You will develop an understanding of your skill set and what you can offer employers. By the end of this workshop you will:

  • Have identified skills you have developed/ are developing during your research degree

  • Understand how to articulate your skills to academic and non-academic employers

  • Identified opportunities to facilitate ongoing skills building

This workshop will be presented by Dr Shari Walsh, Developer and Facilitator of Resilient Researcher; Psychologist and Career Development Practitioner, Growth Psychology, Brisbane.
