Description

This year I am hosting my first Pink Ribbon Picnic fundraiser-athon because I want to make a real difference to Australians affected by breast cancer. All donations made to this page will support life-changing breast cancer research.


The National Breast Cancer Foundation is the only national body that funds life-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.


Research is the only way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. By funding only world-class research, NBCF is working towards a goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030


Starting at 12pm to 12.40pm will be a Picnic luncheon, a gold coin donation entry fee applies pp & $6 entry for families of up to 6, ($1 extra pp) who wish to join us for a delicious, refreshing light variety of healthy options to choose from with GF choices available. Please purchase tickets via link below or Inbox me (megs) via Hazelbrook LPO facebook page to reserve your seats and make your donation.


Then from 1pm to 4pm the Pink Ribbon FUNdraiser-athon which will be open to the general public no entry fee is required. Please bring coins for food and drink stalls, and other stalls selling a variety of things all to help raise funds for NBCF.

So get dressed up pretty in pink & come on down to Gloria park and get involved with Hazelbrooks Pink Ribbon Picnic & enjoy brunch (YOU MUST BOOK A SEAT ASAP FOR THE FUNDRAISING LUNCHEON) a $6 entry fee for families of up 5 is required and can be paid via ticket link below or paid into the NBCF donation link via the event page, simply put amount and your name down as get an email with details about donations so i can put you down as paid on the day.

If your not joining the Pink Ribbon Picnic there will be no entry fee, you just contribute coin to the designated fundraising amount for each game, comp; "spray it pink" hair spraying, best dress in pink comp, face painting, 3 legged race egg & spoon race + other games & fundraising sweets & drink stalls will be available.


There will lots of games & competitions for the kids as well as competitions, giveaways, raffles, auctions (as well as a special sweepstake Im yet to announce) for the adults with chances to win gift vouchers for Hazelbrook bistro valued at $150, a gift voucher for IFLY penrith valued at $149 which includes 4 flights (beginner superhero pack will be available for those who have never done IFLY before so no one misses out!) & plenty more exciting local prizes to win all made possible by the huge amount of small local buisnesses who have got involved without hesitation to help make this fundraising event fun afternoon of raising awareness and as much funds as we all can to donate to the National breast cancer foundation to find a cure to end this serious cause in the next 13 years.

There will be 2 "TAG HER BAG" goodwill chemo care suitcases If you know of anyone fighting breast cancer at the moment please inbox Hazelbrook LPO page and tell us 35 words or less their name & what it would mean to you if your chosen loved one received a chemo care suitcase! Winners will be announced 5/12/2017 via facebook page and contacted directly for suitcase delivery arrangements. If no one applies, both suitcases will be given to 2 random patients fighting breast cancer in hospital.

Both suitcases are available at Hazelbrook LPO for anyone to come in and help put together to surprise & to put a smile on 2 surviving faces. The suitcases will be at Hazelbrook LPO from 13/11/17 for 3 weeks and will be at Hazos Pink Ribbon Picnic FUNdraiser-athon if they still need to be filled with goodies!! So far we have added a towel, trinket box with pens, small notebooks, journals, crystals, small buddhas along with adult colouring-in books, all natural organic local hand made soaps and loose change to both suitcases to start of their loose change wallets.. Their are also two blank inspirationional recovery books I have made up that need your help to be filled, so if incase you want to get involved in this beautiful cause but dont have anything to add to the suitcases, simply come up to the counter & put a $2 donation into the Pink National Breast cancer contributions box & ask us for a coloured pen of your choice to leave a message or inspirational quotes or sayings you may love & live by for two BC survivor to always read back on!

Books will be given seperately to suitcases.

I am already filled with gratitude for everyone's help & contributions into putting a smile upon a breast cancer patient face & take their minds away from their situation & surroundings for a moment.. or 20!

All proceeds raised by our beautiful community, it's surroundings & amazing small local buisnesses, will be donated towards doing our part in helping the breast cancer Foundation and their amazing efforts to continue researching into this heartbraking cause to finally find the cure to kill breast cancer forever!!!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No ID is required.

All ages types and genders welcome.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is parking available at the park and the hall. Please do not park in bowling club car park we need to leave the spaces available for club patrons. Thank you

What can I bring into the event?

It is an alcohol and drug free fundraiser event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. But it would be appreciated if you could bring it along with you.

FUNraiser-athon has free entry no printed ticket needed.


Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Thats no problem at all just have the Purchaser of ticket/s to sign printed tickets giving consent.
