The department’s HAT and LT team developed a new workshop in 2020 to complement the applicant online modules that were launched on the Learning Place in April 2020.
This revised 3 hour workshop includes activities such as reflecting on, and sharing, high quality examples of practice, direct evidence of practice, developing an evidence set, writing annotations and making connections with colleagues and critical friends. Content in the workshop is different to the previously offered 4 hour workshop that is now the basis of the online modules.
Prerequisite: To get maximum benefit, it is important participants have a basic understanding of the certification process prior to the workshop.
We highly encourage all applicants to participate in the Teacher Introduction to HAT and LT before attending an in depth session.

The evening sessions will be from 4:00pm-7:00pm with light refreshments provided. Tea and coffee will be provided at each venue from 3:30pm.
While the workshops are free to participants, the HAT and LT team does pay venue hire and catering costs. For these reasons, we do ask that if you have registered to attend and are no longer able to, to avoid being charged a fee please either cancel your registration via the link in your original email or through Eventbrite.
