The iconic Hamilton District Agricultural Show is back again this year on Saturday 5 March!

The Hamilton Show will be officially opened by Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania at 10am.

A feature of the show this year will be the Tasmanian Lighthorse, an historical re-enactment troop providing an opportunity to see the uniforms and equipment of the Lighthorse as it was used by the Tasmanian Mounted Infantry.

Other attractions include live entertainment by renowned musician Bernie Bruce, clay target shooting, face painting, post vintage and classic cars, animal nursery, a ute competition, campdrafting, fleece competition, dog high jump, local school arts and craft, sideshow alley, kids’ novelty races, and the ever-popular bar, BBQ and grandstand high-teas.
